This in-depth camp will provide hands-on experience in the basic skills of food and kitchen tool safety, food handling, chopping, sautéing and creating healthy and easy meals. At the start of each class, a topic will be introduced, skills will be taught and practiced, and a complete healthy meal will be made, which participants will enjoy for lunch that day. Kids Kitchen Boot Camp 201Week 7Have you taken Kids Kitchen Boot Camp 101 in the past and really enjoyed it? Then you may be ready for the next level! In this two-day camp, participants will be introduced to advanced tools and techniques, including mandolins, instant pots, canning and multi-step recipes. In addition, students will review kitchen safety and healthy eating tips. This camp involves working in groups, moving through directions quickly and handling multiple hot items. Magnificent Masters on Canvas CampWeek 5In this class, we will be inspired by art created by Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Jackson Pollock and Pablo Picasso. We will recreate famous works of art like Van Gogh’s Vase with Twelve Sunflowers, Monet’s Bridge at Giverny, Pollock’s splatter painting and many others, all on real canvas boards. Starting SoonMath-by-Mail: Grades 2-5Week 1Keep your math skills sharp over the summer! This 10-week correspondence program was developed by a veteran teacher. Concepts that students will cover during this summer review support concepts they encountered during their previous school year. This "pen pal-like" program provides students the opportunity to practice previously learned math concepts and to build confidence. Students will take a pre-test and fill out a questionnaire to individualize their program. Students will then receive nine weeks of lessons. Each week's packet will include five math lessons with problem-solving activities. The activities will apply to a specific math concept. After the student has completed a packet, they will mail it in. We will make corrections, provide feedback, and mail it back. Students may start and finish the course at their own pace. When all lessons are completed, students will receive a certificate of achievement and a restaurant meal coupon. Please register for this summer program by June 30.Summer 2026 -

The newborn classes will be taught by an Early Childhood Parent and Family Educator along with a Scott County Public Health Nurse. This class is to be supportive to you as the parent/guardian - answering your questions as well as supporting you on your parenting journey.
