Ice Cream Science

Get ready to chill out with science! In this hands-on STEM class, kids will explore the fascinating chemistry and physics behind making ice cream - yes, real, edible ice cream! Using simple ingredients and everyday materials, participants will turn their curiosity into creamy creations while learning core scientific concepts.

Charlene is a licensed educator with over 25 years of experience teaching science in a classroom setting. During her career, she's taught a diverse selection of topics - including biology, math, chemistry, entomology, bird ecology, life science, physics and more. In addition to her work in classrooms across Minnesota, she's also taught abroad in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Today, she organizes a range of community education courses to help students across over 30 school districts discover the basis principles of science, technology, physics, and of course, baking and cake pop decoration.
