Math-by-Mail: Grades 2-5Week 1Keep your math skills sharp over the summer! This 10-week correspondence program was developed by a veteran teacher. Concepts that students will cover during this summer review support concepts they encountered during their previous school year. This "pen pal-like" program provides students the opportunity to practice previously learned math concepts and to build confidence. Students will take a pre-test and fill out a questionnaire to individualize their program. Students will then receive nine weeks of lessons. Each week's packet will include five math lessons with problem-solving activities. The activities will apply to a specific math concept. After the student has completed a packet, they will mail it in. We will make corrections, provide feedback, and mail it back. Students may start and finish the course at their own pace. When all lessons are completed, students will receive a certificate of achievement and a restaurant meal coupon. Please register for this summer program by June 30.Summer 2026 -
Math-by-Mail: Grades 6-9Early Summer OfferingsMath-by-Mail is expanding its options to learn math! How exciting! We will continue to offer our predetermined set of eight packets, but we are adding an ala carte menu! Our ala carte approach will allow for individual choices regarding the skills and concepts students and parents can request to build math confidence, and it is still an eight-week course with a self-paced approach! Student-completed packets should be mailed (USPS) to Math-by-Mail. We will then provide feedback and return corrected packets to students via USPS. As always the goal of Math-by-Mail is to provide rich content to maintain mathematical understanding! All packets are due back by August 14 in order to provide timely feedback before the 2026-2027 school year begins. Please reach out at any time if you have questions. Registration ends on June 15.Summer 2026
