Safe at Home on My Own

Safe at Home on My Own is designed to help prepare youth to safely take care of themselves when they are home alone. We will answer questions about setting up routines for youth to be by themselves and also discuss common household emergencies, using the telephone, basic First Aid, and more. This class is intended as a tool to help families prepare youth for staying home alone. It will not fully prepare all youth for the responsibilities involved with being at home alone. Taught in partnership with the Shakopee Police Department.
