Molecular Munchies
Ever wondered what the universe tastes like? In this high-energy, hands-on workshop, young scientists become “atomic architects” to build the very building blocks of matter - and then eat them! Before we can understand the world around us, we have to look at the tiny particles that make it all up. This class blends physics, chemistry and culinary creativity to turn abstract concepts into delicious 3D masterpieces.

Instructor
Charlene is a licensed educator with over 25 years of experience teaching science in a classroom setting. During her career, she's taught a diverse selection of topics - including biology, math, chemistry, entomology, bird ecology, life science, physics and more. In addition to her work in classrooms across Minnesota, she's also taught abroad in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Today, she organizes a range of community education courses to help students across over 30 school districts discover the basis principles of science, technology, physics, and of course, baking and cake pop decoration.
