Battle Drones CampWeek 4Battle Drones features an exciting combination of aerial acrobatics with an engineering design challenge that will teach students STEM concepts, teamwork and how to skillfully fly a drone. In Battle Drones, teams of students will build robotic launchers designed to fling projectiles at their opponents' drones. Students will be guided by experienced instructors in how to construct their launchers to maximize projectile speed and accuracy. The camp will culminate in an epic battle where students will need to pilot their drones to safety by dodging opponent projectiles while using their own launchers to take down opponent drones. Build & Battle Robotics CampWeek 4Step into the arena with Build & Battle Robotics (LEGO Edition), where creativity meets competition! Working in small teams, students will use LEGO robotics kits to design and build their own battling machines, whether it’s a powerful pusher, a clever wedge or a spinning striker. Along the way, they’ll learn the engineering behind gearing, traction and armor as they tweak and improve their designs. The camp culminates in fast-paced, ring-style matches that bring excitement and strategy to life. Coding with Superheroes STEAM CampWeek 4Unleash your inner hero in this creative STEAM adventure! In this camp, students will bring superheroes to life through storytelling, design and beginner-friendly coding. Using Scratch, they will create simple interactive games where heroes move, jump and overcome challenges while learning foundational coding concepts. Students will also step into the world of digital media by producing their own superhero stop-motion short film, complete with props and sets they design themselves. Project RunwayWeek 4Join us for this popular summer camp featuring all new projects! Participants will learn multiple hand and machine sewing techniques, and practice on basic projects, including comfy shorts, a water bottle bag, a criss-cross headband and more. Participants will showcase their projects on the last day of class, then take everything home with them to walk the runway of everyday life. Family and friends are invited to the showcase.
