Classroom & BTW-AClassroom InstructionShakopee Community Education provides quality classroom and behind-the-wheel driver's education instruction for Shakopee Public Schools resident students. Students must be at least 14½ years old on or before the last classroom session. Parents and students are invited and encouraged to attend a 90-minute class to learn how to improve your own driving instruction and help your teen to become a better driver. Find out about the new rules for first-time drivers. We will provide you with information and tools you can use to help support your teen in driving safely.New drivers are required to log 50 hours of driving while they have their permit. By attending this meeting, you can reduce that requirement by 10 hours. Parents/guardians are encouraged to provide as many additional hours with their teens as possible to prepare them to become a safe driver. completed driving log is required for the road test and license application.
