Spring is happening! Let’s go outside and investigate the changes. Time will also be spent in the classroom learning about nature. Parents will learn about the ways to enjoy the outdoors with your child and the benefits and learning that happen during these adventures.

Let your child experience dramatic play and other activities, as they pretend to be a Little Artist, Little Chef and Little Scientist. Dramatic play is an essential activity for early childhood development. It fosters numerous benefits, including the development of social and communication skills, emotional regulation, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. The parent educator will lead the parents in discussion focused on ways to foster these skills at home.

This literacy class will incorporate a variety of activities and strategies, such as: play based learning, encouraging oral language and reading aloud. Parent discussion will be around family involvement; equipping you with strategies to support your child’s literacy at home.

Art activities, playing with friends, reading, and so much more will be part of our time together as we enjoy summer and have fun learning. Parent discussion will be focused around getting ready for preschool and summer routines for families. (ideas for free family activities, the library opportunities , etc)
