This in-depth camp will provide hands-on experience in the basic skills of food and kitchen tool safety, food handling, chopping, sautéing and creating healthy and easy meals. At the start of each class, a topic will be introduced, skills will be taught and practiced, and a complete healthy meal will be made, which participants will enjoy for lunch that day. The afternoon features baked items and other sweet creations. On the final day, students will bring home dinner and dessert for their family to enjoy. Meets four times.Summer 2026 -
Kids Kitchen Boot Camp 201Week 7Have you taken Kids Kitchen Boot Camp 101 in the past and really enjoyed it? Then you may be ready for the next level! In this two-day camp, participants will be introduced to advanced tools and techniques, including mandolins, instant pots, canning and multi-step recipes. In addition, students will review kitchen safety and healthy eating tips. This camp involves working in groups, moving through directions quickly and handling multiple hot items. Safety, awareness and being able to work in the kitchen comfortably is an expectation for this class. This is not for beginners. Meets two times.Summer 2026 -
