The newborn classes will be taught by an Early Childhood Parent and Family Educator along with a Scott County Public Health Nurse. This class is to be supportive to you as the parent/guardian - answering your questions as well as supporting you on your parenting journey. Each week will include a facilitated discussion, a time for questions and answers, and time for weighing your newborn.Fall 2026 -

You will have time to play, explore new activities, read and learn new songs together. Create memories and develop a love of life-long learning! Anytime ParentingParent Only ClassesOnline- Parents Only Class! Connect with a parent educator and other parents on your own schedule. This class will provide ways to learn about how children learn and grow, discuss parenting strategies and more. After viewing the video or materials online, we welcome your comments or questions to foster discussion with other parents in the class to help support each of you in the important role as a parent. Parent and Pre-KParent and Pre-K Classes (3-5 years)Parent and Pre-K: (36-60 months and not in Kindergarten). Must be age eligible for class by 9/15/25. This class include a parent/child play time, a circle time and a separation time. Families will enjoy a time for discussion with one of our parent educators while your preschooler continues to explore their classroom. They will continue to build peer relationships, self confidence, and independence with guidance from their Early Childhood teacher.Fall 2026 -

Circle time with songs, movement and books will provide you and your child with ways to enjoy music together at school and at home. Parent and TwosParent and Twos ClassesParent and Twos Classes: (24-36 months) Must be age eligible for class by 9/15/25. Each class starts with caregiver/child play time followed by a large group circle time. Class will then separate for caregivers to enjoy a chat time with one of our parent educators as your two year old continues to explore and build peer relationships guided by an Early Childhood Teacher.Fall 2026 -
2026/2027 Peek into Preschool All Year (34 months - 4 years by 9/1)Parent and Pre-K Classes (3-5 years)Peek into Preschool:: Sept - May (34-48 months) Must be eligible for class by 9/1/26. This class is perfect for children who are working towards the independent skills needed for preschool as with a unique blend of parent/child time and peer group interaction. The day includes playtime together followed by circle time and time for separation where families will have the opportunity to support each other in discussions led by a licensed parent educator. Parents/guardians must register and attend the class day on Mondays with Wednesday being a child alone day, where your child will begin to gain independence and self confidence.
