    Flying Colors ACT Prep
    Late Summer Offerings

This ACT Prep class is a great way for sophomores and juniors to prepare for the ACT. Taught by veteran instructors, this class covers the most commonly tested concepts, test-taking techniques and time-management strategies. Instructors can also answer any questions the students might have regarding when to take the ACT, how many times to test, and how to leverage a strong score to improve candidacy at target colleges. Included in the cost are two ACT practice tests, as well as a 150-page binder with helpful tips for a successful test-taking experience. Meets two times.

Safe at Home on My Own
    Late Summer Offerings

This class is designed to help prepare youth to safely take care of themselves when they are home alone. We will answer questions about setting up routines to be by themselves when their parents are not home, as well as discuss common household emergencies, using the telephone, basic first aid and more. This class is intended as a tool to help families prepare youth for staying home alone. It will not fully prepare all youth for the responsibilities involved with being at home alone. Taught in partnership with the Shakopee Police Department.
