Shakopee Pole Vault Camp
Our pole vault summer camp is perfect for any beginner, intermediate or advanced pole vaulter who is looking to improve their skills over the summer. The camp will focus on the approach, plant, swing and turn of the vault with coaching from former University of Minnesota vaulter, Big 10 bronze medalist and current Shakopee Track & Field Coach, Alexis Berg. The camp will have one-on-one coaching with execution of sand, land and pit drills that will help each athlete improve their technique. Poles will be provided for each practice, but athletes are welcome to bring their own, if desired. An in-house competition will be held at the end of the three-week program where participants will have a chance to put their new skills to the test! Meets six times.
