American Mah Jongg for Beginners
Join us for a fun and interactive class where you’ll learn the basics of this classic tile game. We’ll cover the rules, strategies and gameplay essentials to get you started. Enjoy a social and engaging experience as you match tiles, build hands and develop winning moves. This class is designed for beginners with no experience needed. Each session builds on the last, so consistent attendance is important for success. Take a seat at the table, shuffle the tiles and get ready to shout “Mah Jongg!” A $15 supply fee is due to the instructor at the start of class. Meets four times.
Amy Pistulka
Amy is a retired teacher who recently discovered her love for American Mah Jongg. As a newer player herself, she remembers what it’s like to be just starting out and brings patience, encouragement, and enthusiasm to every class.
Sandy Wright
Sandy is a retired teacher with over ten years of experience playing American Mah Jongg. Her love of the game and passion for teaching come together as she helps others discover the fun, strategy, and community that Mah Jongg offers.
