Crazy for Horses Camp (Session 1)

Give your child a fun and safe introduction to the world of horses! In this three-day, half-day camp, participants will learn the basics of horse care and experience beginner riding in a supportive environment. This camp is perfect for kids who love animals, are curious about horses, or want a gentle introduction to riding and horse care. Camp is held at Capall Stables in Lonsdale, MN. There is an indoor arena available for inclement weather. Transportation is not provided. Meets three times.

Camp Highlights:

  • Learn how to brush, bathe, lead and safely handle a horse
  • Introductory riding lessons
  • Daily horse-related activities, crafts and games
  • Build confidence, responsibility and comfort around horses
  • Snack and all craft supplies provided
  • Parent/guardian must sign a camp waiver. Bring waiver to first class.
